The statist paradigm is terribly wrong.
statist paradigm - the world is (and should be) divided into competing States, with all people a part of their respective State "teams." Rulers and subjects are teammates.
Anarchists believe this model hides the true relationship between rulers and ruled.
Example: War
Statist paradigm implies it is State A against State B, i.e. rulers and subjects are identified, fomenting an "us vs. them" mentality, implying that use of WMDs is okay, etc.
Anarchists see it as Rulers of State A vs. rulers of State B, with people of both States being exploited for funding and as expendable soldiers. The real enemies of the people of States A and B are their respective rulers.
